Parents and Students: Just a quick reminder that all students who are enrolled in on campus instruction are expected to return to campus tomorrow, Jan. 19. Please be sure to bring the Chromebook you checked out for virtual instruction as well as a mask. Parents, please review with your student(s) the importance of wearing a mask properly at all times. The superintendent announced today that NLRMS 6 will be open for on campus instruction beginning tomorrow. Families have a choice to send their students to campus for instruction or to keep them at home for asynchronous virtual learning. Teachers will be available by email for virtual learning but not via Zoom. Assignments will be posted in Google Classroom. If your student will be returning to campus, please make sure he/she brings the Chromebook they checked out last week with them.

NLRMS 6 will continue virtual learning tomorrow, Jan. 11. We will follow the A day schedule with students meeting their 1st period teachers at 8:10 via zoom. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teachers. They will be happy to help.

In light of the announcements that we will be pivoting to virtual learning, students who are in attendance at NLRMS 6 today will receive a Chromebook to take home for use in remote learning. Students who are not in attendance on campus today may pick up a Chromebook tomorrow at NLRMS 6 from 9 am to 1 pm in a drive through format.

The North Little Rock School District continues to monitor the impact of COVID-19 in our schools. This is a reminder from our earlier communication that the Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus will continue remote instruction for Thursday, January 6, 2022, and Friday, January 7, 2022. Also, please make plans to attend our "Calling All Dads and Male Role Models" session on Sunday, which will feature the founders of "Dads on Duty" from Shreveport, La. They first appeared on CBS Evening News. Come and hear how they have made a positive impact in schools.
