Hello 6th Grade families! Please remember that our Virtual Open House will be next Thursday, August 12 at 6 pm. Also, we would like to invite you to sign up for 6th Grade tours. Please sign up USING YOUR STUDENTS FIRST & LAST name at the link below. These tours will be less than 30 minutes and will be to tour the campus only. Our plan is to have student schedules available before your tour so you can find your classrooms. We will also have a drive through next Friday to pick up schedules for those not able to/or needing to tour. The tour is limited to the 6th grade student and 2 guests (including siblings.) In addition, all students will be given a tour of the campus on the first day of school through their Science class. We ask that for your safety and ours, that you please wear a mask. The NLRSD has extended the registration period for enrollment into the Virtual Academy. The deadline to register is August 3. We have created a website that is dedicated to providing you with information about the NLRSD Virtual Academy. At the link, you will be able to register for the Virtual Learning Academy and watch a Parent Information Session to learn how the Virtual Academy will work for the 2021-2022 school year. The North Little Rock School District will be offering free athletic physicals for NLR athletes in grades 7-11 on May 20, 2021. Physicals for high school students are 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the Auxiliary Gym. Physicals for middle school students will take place in the Mini Auditorium and Lobby Area outside of the Auditorium from 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Every athlete must have a completed and signed consent form to participate. The consent and health history forms can be picked up from the coaches or nurses and are available at the following link: https://www.nlrsd.org/o/athletics.
