December 16th -Food Truck Fest during the Wildcat Winter Wonderland Dance that will be held during school hours.
In the next couple of weeks, we will be working with students to set learning goals. We want parents to be a part of this goal setting. We sent home NWEA & ACT Aspire score reports. Please review this information and help your student begin to consider some possible goals.
School begins at 8:10am. Any students who are dropped off after 8:10 must have an adult sign them in.
All students must be picked up no later than 3:55 pm. Administrators must be present until all students are picked up. Be courteous of their time.

Today our NLRMS 7/8 Honor Roll students were announced during lunch. Students with all A's or with A's and B's received a certificate and a Taco Bell coupon for a free taco!
Basketball season is around the corner! Come and see what's in store for the 2022-2023 season.
Safety and security are our top priority on the NLRMS 7/8 Campus. To ensure that students enter the building safely, we changed our line up procedures for 3rd Lunch. Students will line up on the out of bounds lines at the end of courtyard time then enter the building in an orderly fashion. Safety and security will always be our top priority.

We had a busy Friday! Mrs Salaam and students organized our living wax museum to celebrate Hispanic Heritage. Students visited the exhibit during their courtyard time on Friday. Friday was also the final day of Red Ribbon Week. We showed that drugs are old school by wearing clothing from our favorite decades.

The Board recognized Mrs. Capri Salaam, the 2023 Arkansas Teacher of the Year (ATOY)! Salaam, a social studies teacher at the Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus, is the eighth NLRSD teacher who has been named ATOY. She will now compete to be National Teacher of the Year.

Parent Teacher Conference will start tomorrow at 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
All guests attending Parent Teacher Conferences will have to walk through our Open Gate Security System. Please remove any laptops, or electronic devices before walking through the Open Gate System. Anyone carrying a bag will need to make sure their bag doesn't get to close to the Open Gate System when walking through.

NLRMS 7th and 8th-grade campus will "PINK OUT" as we all say BOO to cancer. We want to honor those who are battling or have battled a cancer diagnosis of any type.
