Due to the inclement weather, all schools and Central Office sites will remain closed over the weekend, which include no athletic events or practices.
District administrators will continue to monitor the impact of the weather on school operations this weekend and will update the community by Sunday, February 21, 2021, on the status of school operations for Monday, February 22, 2021.

Dear 7th Grade Students,
I will be hosting a 10:00am open meeting for anyone who wants to chat or ask any questions. This is NOT required, but I would love to see you. The meeting link that has been sent to your emails.
Parents, guardians, and students tomorrow Thursday, February 18th, and February 19th will both be virtual school days. Teachers will follow the Virtual Friday Schedule. During the next two days, teachers will be available to parents and students. These two days will be a great opportunity for students to catch up on their assignments or get extra help if needed. Teachers will not be covering any new content during this time. Don't forget Mr. Leverett and Mrs. Williams are both available as well.

Students will receive a new digital attendance form each day we are virtual or until we return back to campus. NLRMS 7/8 Word Wall: Every week Mr. Cain shares "Word of the Week"! Word of Week : Lucrative: (Adjective) Producing a great deal of wealth, money-making.
Example: Haley wants to have a lucrative career as a famous Youtube star, but she plans on getting her college degree just in case.
Parents and guardians, we want to make sure all of our NLRMS 7/8 students have access to the internet. If your child doesn't have access to the internet please make sure to call 501-771-8200 so we can help you.
Parents and guardians, this is a reminder the virtual attendance link that was sent out this morning from Mr. Leverette needs to be filled out by 2:00pm today. Please check with your middle school student(s) to make sure they have completed their attendance. The NWEA test will be for students on campus as well as for virtual students. Please make sure your child comes to school daily and is on time.
The following are NWEA test dates:
February 22-23- Reading
February 24-25-Science
March 1-2- Math
March 3-11- Makeups as needed

Parents and guardians, Interim Reports were handed out today during their first period for students attending on campus. Students attending virtually can get their Interim Reports by logging into their HAC accounts.

Congratulations to the Quiz Bowl Team from the NLRMS Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus! They scored 5th in the state tournament! We are extremely proud of them!
Parents and guardians,
This week we will have two "Remote Learning" days on February 9th and 11th.
Remote learning days are as follows:
-Students will check the Google Classroom for each of their classes and complete any assignments given.
-If you must send your child to school, transportation will be provided. Students that come to campus will be required to work on their assignments, so they will need to bring their work and Chromebook
-On-campus and virtual students will not have any live or virtual class meetings on those days.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm virtually on both Tuesday and Thursday night. Sign- up links were sent from your child(s) teachers last Friday.
