2022 NLRMS 7/8 Summer School Information
Summer school will be held at North Little Rock Middle School 7th- and 8th-grade campus from June 8 until July 6 and is mandatory for students who have failed mathematics and/or English for the year in order to be promoted to the next grade. There is no cost to attend. No school will be held on July 4 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Classes will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m and meet daily, Monday through Thursday. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and transportation will be provided for those who indicate need below and reside within the NLRSD boundaries. Students will be expected to attend every day of summer school. Accruing more than two unexcused absences could result in dismissal from the program.

Students will be released early on Friday, May 20, 2022. Pre-K students will be dismissed between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:50 p.m. Middle schools will dismiss at 1:40 p.m. High schools will dismiss at 2:10 p.m.

We are happy to announce an 8th grade End of Year Ceremony. We are especially proud of our 8th grade students and their commitment to their academics during these unprecedented times. This special event is both a privilege and an opportunity to honor our students for their time at North Little Rock Middle School. This ceremony does not guarantee that your student has met the requirements to be promoted to the Ninth Grade.
