Good Mourning Grief Support Information:
For Fall 2022, Good Mourning Grief Support Groups will be provided in-person in Professional Building One on the Arkansas Children's Hospital campus. A Parent Orientation will be provided on Tuesday, September 20. Groups for all ages, including adults, will go for eight weeks on Tuesdays, 6-7:30 pm beginning Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Starting on Monday, September 12th through Wednesday, September 14th all NLRMS 7th-8th grade students will be taking the NWEA test. Please encourage your child to do their very best.
NLRSD will be closed on Monday, September 5, 2022 in observance of Labor Day.

What a great start to the 2022-2023 school year! Here are a few reminders we need to make sure all students are following.
School doors open at 7:30 am for students to go eat breakfast in the cafeteria.
Class instruction starts at 8:10 am daily.
Parents will have to sign their child(ren) into school if the student is tardy. Students are concerned tardy after the morning bell rings at 8:10 am.
All students entering the building will need to make sure they take all electronic devices or items with metal on them out of their backpacks prior to walking through the Open Gate security system.
Students will not be allowed to carry solid backpacks of any type while on any of the NLRSD campuses. Students with solid backpacks will have to turn those backpacks into a member of the security team or the front office until the end of the school day.
Breakfast and lunch is free for all NLRSD students.

Dr. Pilewski has been visiting each campus to meet with staff members. While at the 7th & 8th Grade Campus, he presented flowers to Mrs. Capri Salaam, our Teacher of the Year, to celebrate her selection as one of the top four semi-finalists for State Teacher of the Year.
