Week of September 18: NWEA testing for 2nd grade is this week. ACT Aspire Interim testing will be Wednesday and Thursday for 5th grade. Parent-teacher conferences are Thursday after school 3-6 and Friday morning 8-11. No school for students Friday.

Lakewood Launch will be Thursday, August 10. Outside activities will begin at 5:00. Hot dogs, chips and water will be served. School t shirts, P T A memberships and Kona Ice will be available.
Lakewood Launch and Open House will be August 10 from 5:00 until 7:00. Students can meet teachers for the upcoming year and enjoy fun activites.

Parents, Effective immediately students may not bring fidget spinners to school. They have caused many issues in the last few weeks. Again, no more fidget spinners are allowed at Lakewood Elementary. If a child brings a spinner to school, it will be kept in the office until a parent picks it up. Thank you very much for understanding.

Hello Lakewood families! Because the weather is looking very rainy for this Friday, we have moved our field day to May 19. The schedule will be: talent show from 8:30 until 10:30, lunch 10:30 until 11:30, and games from 11:45 until 2:15. Have a good afternoon.
The final NLRMS Middle School band night will be Tuesday, May 9, in the Middle School Band Room from 4:30-6:30 pm. This is required for all children who are interested in band for next year.
