The lockdown at North Little Rock High School and the Center of Excellence has been lifted. All students and staff are safe and the campus remains secure. School will resume normal operations. The safety of our students and staff remains our number one priority. Thank you for your patience and support.

North Little Rock High School and the Center of Excellence are on lockdown. A male student was shot off campus and sustained non life-threatening injuries. All students and staff are safe. There is no active threat. We are working with the North Little Rock Police Department and will provide further information as it becomes available. We will let you know when the lockdown is lifted. In the meantime, there will be no one allowed in the building and no one allowed to leave the building until the lockdown is lifted. The safety of our students and staff remains our number one priority.

The NLR Chess Team participated in a scrimmage match hosted by Little Rock Central High School last week. Six students competed against Little Rock Central High and White Hall High. Senior Sloan Linker placed third out of 20 players. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Torrence "Boosie" Moore on being named "Player of the Week" by Pulaski County Farm Bureau. Moore, a junior, had 12 rushes for 119 yards and 2 TDs. He had one reception for 7 yards and a TD. The Charging Wildcats thrashed the LR Southwest Gryphons, 62-14. It's Homecoming Week. The Charging Wildcats will host the Catholic Rockets. Congratulations, "Boosie," and let's go, Charging Wildcats!

The Theatre Arts Forensics team competed (virtually) in the Bentonville Tiger Eye Forensics and Debate tournament this past weekend and placed 3rd place overall as a team.
