The North Little Rock Board of Education recognized NLR Varsity for winning the Class 6A state cheer competition! They made history this year as the first team in Class 6A to ever win state with only 11 girls on that mat. They are heading to Orlando next month for nationals!

Over the weekend, the NLR Varsity Cheer competitive team and the Varsity Dance team participated in competitions. Cheer placed 2nd at their first competition of the season. Their next competition is Saturday, November 16 at the Bank OZK arena in Hot Springs at 4:30 pm. They would love to see lots of blue and gold there cheering them on!
