The Arkansas Boys State/ Arkansas Girls State program is an immersive program in civics education designed for high school students who have completed their junior year of high school. The week-long residential camp exposes students to the governmental process in which they elect their peers to serve in various offices. The goal is to offer practical instruction on the duties and responsibilities both of a citizen and of public officials.
These students were recommended by their teacher, counselor, or administrator to attend. Eligibility is based on leadership, character, scholarship, and community service participation.
The Wildcat Foundation will cover the fees of all these students who attend Arkansas Boys State or Arkansas Girls State.
