October is Dyslexia Awareness Month! Did you know 1 in 5 people show signs of dyslexia? That’s 2-4 kids in every classroom who may struggle with reading, writing, and/or spelling. Huge thanks to our Dyslexia Interventionist at Glenview for their dedication to student success!

Celebrate Book Character Day with us on Oct. 31st! Students can wear costumes to school as long as they are linked to a book and they bring the book with them. The NLR dress code must be followed: no masks, hoods, or anything scary.
Fall Picture Day is November 1st. All attire must conform to the NLRSD Policy.
Students must wear closed toed shoes on both days. We want students to be safe.📚

Glenview Families: We are seeking bags of candy to be donated for our upcoming Fall Festival this Friday 10/25. If you are willing to donate, please send with your student or drop off with the front office. (Please note the flier that went home has the wrong date on it).

Mark your calendars for Glenview's annual fall festival on Friday October 25th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Wristbands to enter will be $5 per child. We will have games, an inflatable, hayrides, music, a spook house and door prizes. We can't wait to see you there!
Parents, next Friday we will be hosting Parent Teacher conferences from 9am-4pm. Students will not have school this day so plan accordingly. We would love to touch base with all of you about your child's progress. Please get in contact with your child's teacher about scheduling.

We encourage all dads, grandfathers or father like figures to come have a donut with your child. We want to provide a positive environment to promote positive family engagement.
Lady Charger Cheer Tryouts will be this Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:30pm. At 4:30pm on Monday, parents we ask that you enter in the rear Cafe door to get information, sign forms, and pick up your child. The tryouts will be a closed tryout for Grades 3rd - 5th.
