The NLR Middle School tennis team will have tryouts on Monday, August 23 at 4:30 at Burns Park Tennis Center. Fifth grade students can join this team!

The North Little Rock School District will be offering free athletic physicals for NLR athletes in grades 7-11 on May 20, 2021.
Physicals for high school students are 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the Auxiliary Gym. Physicals for middle school students will take place in the Mini Auditorium and Lobby Area outside of the Auditorium from 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Every athlete must have a completed and signed consent form to participate. The consent and health history forms can be picked up from the coaches or nurses and are available at the following link: https://www.nlrsd.org/o/athletics.

This is National School Breakfast Week! This year's theme, “Score Big with School Breakfast,” reminds us all that school breakfast provides a healthy and energizing start to the day for students. Studies have shown that students who participated in the school breakfast program reached higher levels of achievement in reading and math, along with higher scores on standardized tests.
The NLRSD Child Nutrition Department will celebrate this week by giving away prizes to students eating breakfast in the cafeteria.
Today is Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! We are thankful for the employees in the NLRSD Maintenance Department for all that they do to keep our schools operating at a high level.
