As you know, the North Little Rock School District closed schools and district offices early on Wednesday, April 2 because of inclement weather.
To avoid extending the school year, the district will add five minutes to the end of the school day beginning Monday, April 14. Please note the updated school hours.
At this time, the last day of school is scheduled for Friday, May 30. However, please keep in mind that inclement weather is unpredictable. If additional schedule changes become necessary, the school year may extend beyond this date.

To avoid extending the school year, the North Little Rock School District has elected to implement the following two changes, beginning Monday, March 3, 2025:
--Suspend early dismissals on Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year
--Add ten (10) minutes to the school day for the remainder of the school year

The Superintendent and Board of Education recognized Amboy's 2nd and 3rd grade basketball team and Boone Park's 4th and 5th grade team on winning the championship in their respective divisions!
What a phenomenal elementary basketball season!

Many secondary streets remain covered in snow and ice, making travel dangerous.
