Ms. Caroline Faulkner, a veteran educator in the North Little Rock School District and most recently served as an Assistant Principal at North Little Rock High School, has been appointed as the Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development and Academic Engagement.
The Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development and Academic Engagement is a newly-created position. In this role, Ms. Faulkner will work closely with Mr. Wesley Bilon, the Director of Student-Athlete Development and Academic Engagement, to place a greater focus on developing the whole student-athlete, which include academic excellence, athletic excellence, personal development, leadership, and community service, so that they can reach their full potential to be future ready academically and athletically.
Ms. Faulkner’s entire professional career has been in the North Little Rock School District. She had been an Assistant Principal at NLRHS since the 2012-2013 school year and had previously served in the same role for nine school years at the former North Little Rock High School - East Campus, which housed ninth and tenth grade students.
Ms. Faulkner was Principal at the former Ridge Road Middle Charter School. She taught for a number of years at the former Rose City Middle, Redwood Elementary, and Lakewood Middle schools. In addition, she served as basketball, track, and volleyball coach. She coached two city girls basketball championship teams: the 1994-1995 Rose City Middle School Chiefs and the 1997-1998 Lakewood Middle School Cougars.
