North Little Rock Academy will hold Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, February 9th from 12:00pm-6:00pm. Please watch for correspondence from teachers to schedule conference times.
In addition, the Parent and Family Engagement Program will host local Adult Education and Family Resource Programs for parents on February 9th. As you schedule your conference times with teachers, remember to block off extra time before or after your conference to speak with the organizations about how you can benefit from their programs.
Also, on February 9th, Ms. Harris the school counselor will help parents and students navigate through the National Financial Aid website. Parents will be able to ask questions about applying for financial aid and information that is needed to complete the application to attend college.
To complete the application, you will need the following:
Your Social Security number
Your Alien Registration number (if you're not a U.S. citizen)
Your federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA form using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool)
Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
An FSA ID to sign electronically.
Also, parents remember, there will be no school on Friday, February 10th. Classes will resume on Monday, Feb 13, 2023.
