This month's recipient of the Great Rising Adult-Youth Mentor Award is Reynardo Marks of the NLR Chamber of Commerce. While he went to the 7th & 8th Grade Campus for his job to speak with students, he has developed an interest in mentoring the students at the school.
Carlton Burton and Ebony Thomas, custodians at Seventh Street Elementary, received the Superintendent's Honor Roll for taking on additional roles as a result of their colleague's extended medical leave. Their dedication does not go unnoticed.
The Board of Education recognized Jonah Pulliam, a junior at NLRHS, for getting a perfect score on the ACT!
