North Little Rock High School and the Center of Excellence are on lockdown. A male student was shot off campus and sustained non life-threatening injuries. All students and staff are safe. There is no active threat. We are working with the North Little Rock Police Department and will provide further information as it becomes available. We will let you know when the lockdown is lifted. In the meantime, there will be no one allowed in the building and no one allowed to leave the building until the lockdown is lifted. The safety of our students and staff remains our number one priority.

We have 27 Dyslexia Interventionists and 2 Dyslexia Specialists, serving students K through 12. Click on this link to see their names: https://tinyurl.com/45a74xvu --Wilson Reading System aligns with the core curriculum being implemented for K-8 and is an approved Dyslexia program by the International Dyslexia Association. --The NLRSD has spent $94,500 in training and materials for the Wilson Reading System. --Twenty-four interventionists will be certified in the Level 1 Practicum by the end of this school year.
