We extend a hearty congratulations to Ebony Mitchell, our newly-crowned Miss Arkansas! Ms. Mitchell served as the emcee of our Night of Honors event, where we recognized our outstanding teachers and support staff. We're rooting for you as you compete to become Miss America!
Kudos to Ms. Tiffany Randall! The Glenview Principal earned the Master Principal distinction through the Arkansas Leadership Academy. This three-phase program provides training and opportunities to expand the knowledge base and leadership skills of public school principals.
Ms. Elise Hampton will be joining the North Little Rock School District as the Principal of the North Little Rock Middle School - Seventh & Eighth Grade Campus.

The Board of Education approved the Superintendent’s proposal to reorganize the Safety, Security, and Emergency Medical Services Department to enhance safety at all campuses. This plan includes 11 armed, commissioned school security officers on our campuses. The plan now goes to an employee committee for approval and discussion. Final approval will be considered by the Board at its next meeting.
