Last week, a local media entity drafted an article regarding the North Little Rock School District. Unfortunately, we were not contacted by the reporter to provide a statement that would have balanced the piece. Our community deserves to know the truth and to be presented with facts. Due to a student database update conducted by the AR Department of Education, there is a delay in returning student registration. A returning student is defined as a student who finished the 2022-2023 school year in the NLRSD. When registration opens, families will receive an email from Arkansas State Department of Education. Snap codes will be included in that email. We will let you know when registration opens. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Summer school at our campuses will resume on Tuesday at the regular times. Central Office sites will also reopen and will be operate the normal summer hours. Families and employees dealing with extenuating circumstances due to the storm are strongly encouraged to contact their summer building administrator or supervisor.

Due to this evening’s storm and mass power outage across the city, summer classes on our campuses for Monday, June 26 have been canceled. All Central Office sites will be open tomorrow as normal. We will provide additional information at another time.
