Congratulations to Jade Sanders on receiving the Parent North S.T.A.R award! Ms. Sanders, who has students at Amboy, is building a relationship with her employer and Amboy to teach financial literacy to students. Ms. Sanders is an alumna of North Little Rock High School.
Ms. Crystal Porter received the Superintendent's Honor Roll award. Her supervisor, Dr. LeAnn Stoll, nominated her to receive this honor. Porter has gone above and beyond in the Special Services Department, serving as a teacher when needed and serving as due process designee.
The NLRHS/COE Chess Team was recognized at tonight's Regular Board Meeting. The team has had phenomenal success in the past, and this year is no exception. The team placed fourth at the regional tournament and will be advancing to state.

Seventh Street Elementary School will be open tomorrow and will resume normal operations. We have received the all-clear from the North Little Rock Fire Department and the Arkansas Department of Health.

Due to a water heater fire at Seventh Street Elementary School, all classes and school operations have been canceled for students and staff today.
Students who have already arrived at school are being sent to Sherman Park Community Center, located across from the school, as a holding place for parents and guardians to receive students. In order to safely reunite parents and students, please bring proper ID to receive your student.
We will keep you updated on next steps.
