Have a great weekend!

This month's recipient of the Great Rising Adult-Youth Mentor Award is Reynardo Marks of the NLR Chamber of Commerce. While he went to the 7th & 8th Grade Campus for his job to speak with students, he has developed an interest in mentoring the students at the school.

Carlton Burton and Ebony Thomas, custodians at Seventh Street Elementary, received the Superintendent's Honor Roll for taking on additional roles as a result of their colleague's extended medical leave. Their dedication does not go unnoticed.

The Board of Education recognized Jonah Pulliam, a junior at NLRHS, for getting a perfect score on the ACT!
Jonah is featured in a video where he discusses how he prepared for the exam and how the NLRSD has positioned him for success at this link: https://vimeo.com/945952474

Congratulations to Brandon Orobona and MItchell Lowery, two students in the NLRHS Charging Wildcat Band, have received All-State honors in band! These two are in the top 10% of all musicians on their instrument in the entire state.

Power has been restored at NLRHS/COE building, in addition to the Central Office Administration Building. We will continue with the delayed start time of 10:30 a.m. at those sites.
Remember, students who were scheduled to take the AP Language & Composition exam this morning will now take it on May 23 at 8:00 a.m.
Enjoy the day!

Due to the power outage at NLRHS/COE, the AP English Language and Composition exam scheduled to be taken this morning has been postponed. The new exam date will be May 23, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.
