Mrs. Monica Bones has been selected to serve as the Assistant Principal at Seventh Street Elementary School. Mrs. Bones began this role toward the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Bones served as the Dean of Students at Seventh Street Elementary School. In this role, she handled student discipline.
Mrs. Bones is a veteran educator and has worked in the Pulaski County Special School District, Pine Bluff School District, and the former Dollarway Public Schools, having served as a counselor and a teacher. Her first teaching assignment took place at Southeast Middle School, where she taught seventh grade language arts.
Mrs. Bones earned a Master of Education Leadership from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Master of Arts Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She received a Master of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
