Stroud

Mrs. Dannisha Stroud has joined the North Little Rock School District as the Principal at Boone Park Elementary School.  

Mrs. Stroud is a veteran educator who came from the Little Rock School District (LRSD). Most recently, she served as an administrator at Baseline Academy.  Prior to that role, she has served as a principal, assistant principal, instructional facilitator, mathematics teacher at various schools in the LRSD.  

When it comes to honors, Mrs. Stroud was named Teacher of the Year at Mabelvale Middle School.  In addition, she was nominated for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching award, which salutes teachers with both deep content knowledge of the subjects they teach and the ability to motivate and enable students to be successful in those areas.  She even earned praise as her students had the highest math scores in the LRSD on the ACT Aspire in 2019. 

Mrs. Stroud’s professional career began in the Crossett School District, where she served as a teacher and coach. 

“I am fortunate for this opportunity to lead Boone Park,” Mrs. Stroud said. “I look forward to welcoming students, staff, and families onto the campus and engaging with them.”

Mrs. Stroud earned a Master of Education Degree in Middle Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
