Mr. Randy Riddle has assumed the role of Administrative Director of Information Technology for the North Little Rock School District.
Before this administrative appointment, Mr. Riddle served as the Systems Administrator for the district. In this role, his chief responsibilities included monitoring, maintaining, and resolving software, hardware, and network issues while securing student data. In addition, he created recovery plans in the event of a network failure. Mr. Riddle joined the district as a Lead Computer Technician, providing technical support to employees housed at Central Office.
Mr. Riddle served as a technician in Conway Public Schools. His duties ranged from troubleshooting and replacing technological equipment to integrating Apple into Windows to support teaching and learning.
“I am excited about the opportunity to lead the Information Technology Department,” said Mr. Riddle. “I look forward to working with our administrators, teachers, and staff to provide top-level support so that high-quality teaching and learning continues for our students.”
Mr. Riddle earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Technology from Arkansas State University. He has earned a number of certifications, including Apple School Manager and CompTIA A+, a highly-respected industry credential that prepares earners for skills working with hardware, networks, and computer systems.
