Mrs. Janetta Castleman has been appointed to serve as one of the five assistant principals at North Little Rock High School.
Mrs. Castleman is a veteran educator and comes to the NLRSD after having served in the Jacksonville-North Pulaski School District (JNPSD). Most recently, she was the Principal at Jacksonville Middle School. Also while in the JNPSD, Mrs. Castleman served as Principal of the Virtual Academy and Alternative Learning Environment (ALE), which contains students in grades six through twelve. Mrs. Castleman was also the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator.
Before the stint in the JNPSD, Mrs. Castleman served in the following school districts and in multiple roles: Batesville School District, Bald Knob School District, Conroe (TX) Independent School District, and Splendora (TX) Independent School District.
Mrs. Castleman received a Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration from the University of Phoenix. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Harding University.
