REGISTRATION

All families are required to register their students each school year. This is an online process. You will need to provide a current proof of residency during registration. Please click on the Registration, which is listed under Additional Resources.

New or inactive students who are 5 on or before August 1st of the current school year, must register as a new student at the link listed under Additional Resources. Each school has an attendance zone. You will need to know your zone school is for Kindergarten through 5th grades. This tool can assist you. Follow the Attendance Zone Locator and type in your address. If you reside outside the North Little Rock School District attendance zone, you will need to contact another school district for school placement.

SCHOOL CHOICE

We welcome all families to enroll into the North Little Rock School District! Families can choose to enter our district by moving to our boundaries, School Choice, Teacher's Choice, or Special Permission. For families who do not live within the NLRSD school zone but wish to attend one of the schools, the Arkansas School Choice Act is an option. The Arkansas School Choice program enables a student in kindergarten through grade 12 to attend a school in a nonresident district. Applications are accepted every year only between January and May 1 . The student will not need to re-apply for School Choice each year. Once they have been approved, he or she can remain in the district until they graduate.

School Choice is an application process. The Office of Student-Centered Support Services will contact families about their approval status.
