We thank you for considering to join the North Little Rock School District through School Choice. School Choice allows parents to request a school for their student in the North Little Rock School District but live outside of the North Little Rock School District boundary lines (for instance, Little Rock (LRSD), Maumelle (PCSSD), Sherwood (PCSSD), and Jacksonville (JNPSD), etc.)

Parents must apply between January 3, 2023, and May 1, 2023. Parents will need to submit an application and proof of residence, such as a utility bill or mortgage statement which bears the parent's name.

Once approved, permission is valid until the student graduates unless:
✔ Parent or guardian move outside of the District they were released from;
✔ Student(s) are enrolled in another district, private or charter school;
✔ Parent or guardian decides to return to their district of residency.
